Selkie is a well structured, athletic girl with an excellent temperament. She has a lovely soft expression with dark pigment. Selkie loves waterfowl and is fierce on upland birds, she has a soft mouth and a very strong nose. Selkie is biddable and works hard, she is quiet in the blind either hunting or in competition.
She is a gentle soul with children and has a good off switch in the house.
Selkies is a calm and very confident mother and she passes along her strong work ethic and love of life to her offspring. Selkie's previous litters are excelling in various competitive venues, hunting homes and as companions.
This past summer among her other accomplishments in the field, she entered the United Kennel Club's 500 Point club

Sauvy
Sauvy is a very sweet natured, affectionate boy and a very strong powerful athlete. His marking ability in the field is excellent, he is a talented and focused tracker, and he is very fast on land and water. He is willing to work, self-confident and very biddable. In the house he is easy-going with a great off switch. He love everyone and every dog or puppy that he meets.
Sauvy has a wonderful Golden expression, pleasing head, dark eye, correct scissor bites and stands 23.5 at the shoulder. He carries a moderate quick dry straight coat with good undercoat for a hunting retriever.
Sauvy is Karla's first retriever to train for hunt tests and they easily earned CK JH, W, Am WC titles. they are currently training for SH/MH and having a wonderful time in the field. His natural abilities and willingness to please make him a joy to work with.
