About us

Rick and Louise Roberts have owned and raised golden retrievers for almost 40 years.  We are active members of the Vancouver Island Retriever Club, and founding members of both Pacific Rim Hunting Retriever Club and the Salt Chuck Hunting Retriever Club.  All our dogs are owner trained and handled.  We have achieved multiple  Canadian National Master, Grandmasters, Qualified All-Age, Qualified Field Trial Retrievers, as well as Hunting Retriever Champion, 500-, 1000-,and 1500-point dogs and Upland Hunting Champions.  We give back to the sport by judging and being strong working members.  Rick has had the opportunity to achieved the trifecta of judging the Canadian National Retriever Championship, the Canadian Master National and the HRC Grand twice.  Louise judges all levels of CKC and UKC stakes and has judged the Canadian Master National and a UKC Grand.  We are dedicated hunters with 8 years experience guiding pheasant, chukkar and sharpies in South Dakota.  We enjoy training our dogs and like to share our knowledge and experience with more novice handlers
